Matt Miazga will not be returning to Chelsea this summer, despite a successful campaign on-loan at Vitesse Arnhem, according to Goal.
Miazga has made 29 appearances during his stint with Vitesse this season, as Vitesse lifted the KNVB Cup for the very first time in their history.
Goal report that Miazga has convinced his parent club that he is ready to make a step up from the Eredivisie, but he won’t be returning to Stamford Bridge.
According to Goal, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord have shown interested in acquiring the 21-year-old’s services, but Chelsea are holding out for further offers.
Goal believe that Miazga had offers from two Premier League sides and La Liga outfit Espanyol in the summer of 2016, but a move to any of the three never materialised.
If any of them return for the USA international this summer, he could be handed experience at the top level – then we will know if he is ready to be a Chelsea player.
