Ben Watson will be missing through suspension after his red card during the club’s opening match against Southampton.
Brice Dja Djedje won’t be available to make his debut until September as he is suffering from a foot injury.
Although the bookies don’t give Watford much of a chance against Chelsea they did manage to earn themselves a point on the road at Southampton last weekend. Chelsea come into the game finding it hard to keep a clean sheet with just one in their last ten Premier League games

These two sides have played each other three times at Vicarage Road in the Premier League, with both sides sharing one win apiece and drawing the other.
Watford’s victory came in September 1999 when claiming a 1-0 triumph through Allan Smart’s goal, although that is their only win over Chelsea of any sort – both home and away – in their last 15 meetings.
