Antonio Conte believes that Arsenal are one of Chelsea’s main rivals for the Premier League title, report Tribal Football.
Arsenal are yet to pick up a point away from home this season and, in all honesty, are yet to display any sort of quality required to be triumphant in the most competitive and coveted division in the world.
The Gunner faithful’s frustrations have been well noted, and they are likely to continue, but Conte does not hold that same opinion. As Tribal Football report, the Italian has revealed in his pre-match press conference that he believes Arsene Wenger’s men are right in the mix to with the title.
Conte is quoted by Tribal football as saying:
“Arsenal are a big rival for the title, If you see their squad you can understand that – they have a lot of top players.”
He went on to note how Arsenal have only lost one key player during the summer transfer window and thus their squad remains mostly intact, as Tribal Football report:
“I don’t understand why they can’t fight for the title. They have lost only one player, Oxlade-Chamberlain, and they have kept all of their players. They have many top players.”
Perhaps they can compete for the title, but we’re hoping Chelsea will bring them down a peg or two on Sunday.
