Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has re-emerged on the radar of AC Milan, according to the Gazzetta.
As per the Gazzetta, AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella is under pressure at the San Siro. Despite a mega summer spent, the Rossoneri find themselves sixth in the Serie A table following a 2-0 defeat to Sampdoria on Sunday.
The Gazzetta believe that there are two names on Milan’s shortlist of potential successors for Montella in Milan – Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte.
As mentioned in the report, Conte has already confessed that he misses his home country, but it’s hard to see him abandoning Chelsea any time soon, especially so soon into the 2017/18 campaign.
Since the moment he arrived at Stamford Bridge, Conte has been continually linked with a move away. He has offered no suggestion that he will imminently walk out of the club, and he is under no risk of being sacked. These rumours should be put to bed.
