Chelsea visit Qarabag on Wednesday evening in the Champions League, here’s all the latest injury news ahead of the game provided by Physio Room.
This sort of fixture would have been perfect for Batshuayi to get some minutes under his belt and make an impression. The Belgian has made games against weaker opposition his hunting ground since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, but according to Physio Room, he won’t be fit in time for his one as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
Musonda is another who may have featured in this one when fit. He won’t, however, be facing Qarabag on Wednesday evening. Physio Room report that he has sustained a knee injury, and there has been no return date set as of now.
Physio Room list Moses as a ‘slight doubt’. It seems unlikely that Antonio Conte would risk the Nigerian at this point in his recovery. Moses suffered a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace last month and has not featured since. We wouldn’t expect to see him in action tomorrow.
