Reports linking Chelsea with a summer move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata appear to be gathering pace.

AS report that the Premier League champions-elect are in pole position to sign Morata, who is believed to be open offers. According to AS, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is a keen admirer of Morata, and could turn his interest into a concrete offer in the summer transfer window.

The Blues are not alone in the race to sign the Spain international, however. AS believe that Real’s arch-rivals Atletico Madrid and Chelsea’s Premier League counterparts Manchester United are also interested in the running to secure his services.

AS report that Morata’s lack of regular first-team action has left him frustrated at the Bernabeu, and he could subsequently seek a move away from Los Blancos this summer.

Morata has found the back of the net 18 times this campaign, despite not being a regular starter in Zinedine Zidane’s side. That sort of goal contribution could do wonders in helping us retain our Premier League crown.

I hope so as Lukaku is not fit to fill Costa’s boots. I would not pay anymore than 30 million for Lukaku. He is lazy no movement off the ball and lacks heart.
