Chelsea are interested in signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to The Sun.
The Sun report that Milinkovic-Savic, who is represented by disgraced Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, could be available for a fee in the region of £30million.
The tabloid believe that Arsenal and Manchester United are also in the hunt for his signature, but Kezman’s influence gives Chelsea the advantage over their rivals.
According to The Sun, Antonio Conte is lining up Milinkovic-Savic as a potential replacement for Nemanja Matic this summer. Conte could be set to replace one gangly Serbian for another.
Milinkovic-Savic joined Lazio in the summer of 2015, and has gone on to make 70 appearances for the Serie A outfit. His impressive performances have seen him establish himself as an important member of Simone Inzaghi’s side at the Stadio Olimpico, and he appears to be turning plenty of heads across Europe.
Only time will tell if a deal to sign the 22-year-old will materialise this summer.
