Antonio Conte

We have some bad news to bring you ahead of our upcoming clash with FC Barcelona in the Champions League…

The tie is going to be difficult enough as it is. Barcelona are the only side in Europe’s top five leagues who remain unbeaten. Lionel Messi is enjoying a typically fantastic campaign, with Luis Suarez also rediscovering his best performance level.

Chelsea have also conceded seven goals in their previous two Premier League games – and that was against AFC Bournemouth and Watford. Barca will likely be licking their lips at the prospect of taking on our flimsy back-line in the shocking spot of form they find themselves in.

Things have just got even bleaker too, as The Sun report that winger Ousmane Dembele, who signed from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, is back in contention for Barcelona after recovering from a hamstring tear.

That’s all we needed. Dembele found the back of the net ten times and provided 22 assists in 50 appearances for Dortmund. Injury issues have derailed his debut campaign at the Nou Camp, but he will no doubt be raring to go when the La Liga leaders lock-horns with the Premier League champions.
