Roman Conte

Antonio Conte’s chapter as part of Chelsea football club is coming to it’s climax.

The Italian won the Premier League title during his debut campaign as Blues boss. However, following in the footsteps of compatriot Carlo Ancelotti, he has failed to retain his crown.

His relationship with the club’s board appears to be beyond repair. Continually this season he has bemoaned our inadequate transfer strategy, with rumours of a drift with Marina Granovskaia refusing to go away.

The question on all of our minds – who will replace him? This could prove to be a defining period in our history, with Roman Abramovich set to tighten his belt with the redevelopment of Stamford Bridge set to commence.

According to Napoli’s official radio station, Chelsea are keen to poach Maurizio Sarri. It’s suggested that Conte could go the other way, in a move that would suit all parties.

Would you be happy with this, Blues?

This would be brilliant. Getting rid of Conte and getting in the kind of dynamic, attacking manager we’ve been crying out for all season.
