Chelsea’s interest in Torino striker Andrea Belotti appears to be intensifying.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Premier League leaders, along with scouts from Arsenal and Manchester United, will be at the Juventus Stadium on Saturday to see the Italian international in action.
It may, perhaps, not be necessary to jet off to Italy in order to see Belotti in the flesh – he has been one of the headline acts of the Serie A campaign.
In 31 league appearances this term, he has found the back of the net 25 times; and, if Tuttomercatoweb are to be believed, his good performances have turned the heads of three of the Premier League’s biggest sides.
Any side interested in signing Belotti this summer will have to break the bank. ESPN reported earlier this week that the Torino hitman has a £84million release clause in his contract.
He will need to put in a good performance in the ‘Derby della Mole’ tomorrow afternoon if he is to convince any side to part with that sort of cash.
