Chelsea are set to open negotiations with Nathaniel Chalobah over extending his contract, according to Sky Sports.
As per Sky Sports, Watford, Southampton and Swansea all hold an interest in securing the services of Chalobah. There is right to be question marks over his future at Stamford Bridge too, as Sky Sports report that he has less than a year remaining on his current deal with the Premier League champions.
However, it does not look as though Chelsea will allow Chalobah to leave SW6 without putting up a fight. Sky Sports believe that Antonio Conte will hold talks with the England U21 international over the next two weeks.
For several years now Chalobah has been widely regarded as one of the most promising youngsters at the club. He appears destined to hold the midfield for the senior England side in the future, but only time will tell whether he will scale those heights as a Chelsea player.
