Chelsea winger Pedro believes that it’s important the team grows in confidence after the comeback 4-2 win against Watford, the club’s official website reports.

The Spaniard scored another fantastic goal in the six-goal thriller where the Blues were close to throwing away another lead yesterday.

Pedro opened the scoring with a curling effort but despite his good performance, Davide Zappacosta replaced him in the 86th minute.

When speaking to chelseafc.com, Pedro emphasised the important of the victory, and the fact that the team must continue to win games in the hope to chase down league leaders Manchester City.

Pedro is quoted by the club’s official website saying:

“It was a very good win and these three points are very important for us to move up the table.”

“The team feeling is good, we are confident but we will try to continue in this way, winning our games.”

The 30-year-old was crucial in winning the title last season. Hopefully he can replicate that similar form for the remainder of this season.

Despite being fit, Pedro may get rested for the FA Cup tie against Everton on Wednesday. However, after his performance yesterday, it’s likely the forward will start against Bournemouth on Saturday.
