Chelsea will break the bank in order to keep hold of Antonio Conte and Eden Hazard this summer, report the Telegraph.
According to the Telegraph, Conte and Hazard are summer targets for Inter Milan and Real Madrid respectively, but Chelsea, understandably, are not keen on parting with either of them.
The Telegraph believe that Chelsea will look to make Conte the highest paid manager in the club’s history in a bid to get him to commit his future to the Premier League champions.
The Telegraph note that a £12.5million-a-year offer is on the table from Inter Milan, but Chelsea will offer Conte a deal more lucrative than what Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger earn at their respective clubs.
Chelsea will look to do the same with Hazard, according to The Telegraph. The paper believe that the Blues will offer the Belgium international a deal worth £300,000-a-week to try and convince him to turn down Real Madrid.
Both Conte and Hazard have been influential in our success this term. The cost of keeping them here should not be factored into this equation.
