Chelsea’s emphatic win away to Brighton has raised the team’s morale after some troubling games.
The Blues fired a blank in three consecutive matches before a penalty-shootout win against Norwich in the FA Cup.
This victory over the Seagulls has got Chelsea players in lighter spirits as they shared their thoughts on Instagram.
Antonio Rudiger was pictured with Charly Musonda on the team bus who came on in the latter stages of the match, grabbing an assist.
Rudiger also showed his defensive qualities once again, keeping another clean sheet despite Brighton coming close a few times.
Michy Batshuayi may have not scored after getting an opportunity to start the match in place of the suspended Alvaro Morata. However, the Belgian shared a hilarious picture from the game.
Batshuayi is pictured out of focus after Eden Hazard made it 3-0 to Chelsea. Despite links with a move away from the club, Batshuayi continues to express his humour whilst at the champions. Many Chelsea fans were in awe of the Belgian pair’s link up play in this game.
Finally, Andreas Christensen showcased his professional attitude both on and off the pitch after the victory against Brighton.
The Dane was in the wars after being taken off with a head injury. Thankfully, Antonio Conte revealed that Christensen would still be available for the midweek Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal.
Christensen praised his team’s great performance on Saturday and rightfully so.
