Manchester City will be without three key players for their visit to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, according to the BBC.

Pep Guardiola’s side have been brushing side everything in their path so far this campaign, and subsequently sit top of the Premier League table. However, they face their toughest test yet this weekend in the shape of a trip to face the champions on their own turf. They’ll have to do it without an influential trio, too.

The first absentee for City, as per the BBC, is goal-machine Sergio Aguero. The Argentine is tied at the top of the Premier League goal-scoring chart at the moment alongside Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku, but will be unavailable having fractured a rib in a car accident.

The BBC report that Benjamin Mendy is also sidelined after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament, whereas Vincent Kompany continues to recover from a calf strain. Could it be advantage Chelsea ahead of kick-off?
