Despite their dodgy record on the road so far this term, Andreas Christensen is wary of the threat that Arsenal pose ahead of Sunday’s game, report the London Evening Standard.
The Gunners have played two games away from home since the start of the Premier League season against Stoke City and Liverpool. They have accumulated a dismal zero points on their travels, and things are not going to get any easier as Arsene Wengers men visit the champions.
Andreas Christensen is unlikely to feature at the weekend, at least not from the beginning, but he is very much part of the first-team squad this term and has been discussing his side’s upcoming fixture.
Christensen is quoted by the London Evening Standard claiming that Chelsea are taking little notice of Arsenal’s poor away form and are instead focusing on the threat that they pose:
“You can’t look at that [Arsenal’s two away losses this season]. You just look at the players they have and the team they got. We know how difficult it’s going to be.”
Christensen was phenomenal once again on Tuesday night against Qarabag. It really feels like only a matter of time before his forces his way into Antonio Conte’s starting eleven.
