Antonio Conte is locked in a war of words with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

The manager formerly known as ‘The Special One’, during his prime years, was once adored by the Chelsea faithful – but no longer. We will always be grateful for what he achieved here, winning the club’s first league title in 50-years – but he’s in the past now.

Ever since departing Stamford Bridge, Mourinho has done little more than slander his managerial counterparts, and now he’s taken aim at Antonio Conte – which is the final straw.

As reported by the Guardian, Mourinho has moaned that “other managers cry and cry and cry” about their injury struggles. Conte is not happy.

Conte appeared to be irked by Mourinho’s comments, which were a pretty obvious dig at the Chelsea boss following hamstring injuries sustained by Alvaro Morata, N’Golo Kante and Victor Moses.

He is quoted by the Guardian responding to Mourinho’s bitterness:

“If he is speaking about me, I think he has to think about his team and start looking at himself, not others. I think that, a lot of times, Mourinho [likes to concentrate on] what is happening at Chelsea. A lot of times, also last season. [He has] to think about his team.”

Mou has forgotten so soon he was the cry baby last season. He should just be thankful for his club being very active in the last transfer window
