Five-time Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo wants a move back to England and more specifically Chelsea, The Sun reports.
The tabloid newspaper understands that Ronaldo is unhappy in Spain due to allegations that he hasn’t paid a £13.1m tax bill.
Any hope of the 32-year-old making a return to Manchester United has been quashed after the Alexis Sanchez signing.
Ronaldo hasn’t been given the pay rise that was promised to him by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, as The Sun reports.
The Champions League holders are struggling this season, being fourth in La Liga and out of the Copa del Rey. Paris Saint-Germain are also the Spanish side’s round of 16 opponents in Europe.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Ronaldo was tempted to leave Los Blancos after his team’s poor season.
How would Ronaldo fit in at Chelsea?

This all depends on who is at the club next season. If a player like Eden Hazard were to depart Chelsea, Ronaldo would be a suitable replacement for the Belgian.
However, the thought of Ronaldo and Hazard in the same Blues team would be incredible. If arguably the best player in the world did want to leave Real, we would be silly not to at least show an interest.
