Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea on a season-long loan.
Loftus-Cheek was kept around as part of Antonio Conte’s squad last campaign, but failed to establish himself as an important member of the Italian’s squad.
At his age, he needs to be playing regular first-team football, and fingers crossed he will be given that opportunity at Selhurst Park.
Speaking to the CPFC website, Loftus-Cheek revealed his delight at joining the club:
“I had the option of coming to Palace and I thought that it would be great for me.”
“They have a very strong team and I’d like to be a part of that this season.”
Good luck for the next season, Ruben!
