Former Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah could be set to make a sensational return to the Premier League – but he will not be given a second chance at Stamford Bridge.
Calciomercato report that Liverpool are interested in signing Salah from his current employers Roma. The Italian outlet note that the Reds have already reached an agreement with Salah, and now need to agree a fee with Roma.
Calciomercato believe that Liverpool have submitted a £28million bid to Roma for the exchange of Salah’s services, but the Serie A heavyweights are thought to be holding out for as much as £35million.
Having watched Salah during his time at Chelsea, it is difficult to believe that he could be worth such an inflated figure. However, he has developed into one of the most prolific wide-men in Italy during his time with the Giallorossi, and if Calciomercato are to be believed, he is set to earn himself a move to Anfield.
