Manchester City are lining up a surprise £150m swoop for Chelsea forward Eden Hazard, The Mirror reports.
The league leaders look to be planning for next season in which they will likely take our champions of England status.
Due to missing out on the signing of Alexis Sanchez, City manager Pep Guardiola has turned his attentions to another rival.
As per The Mirror, the negotiations of Hazard signing a new deal are stalling, meaning that City are in the running to sign the Belgian.
Hazard to City highly unlikely
If Chelsea are to sell arguably our best player, surely it won’t be to a rival. In the current market, the Blues may not even see £150m as enough money.
Despite having just two years on his contract with us, we must squeeze every penny out of a potential sale. So far, there are no signs that Hazard won’t extend his time at Stamford Bridge.
