N’Golo Kante has completed a hat-trick of personal accolades after being named Premier League Player of The Season.
As soon as Kante put pen-to-paper on a summer move to Chelsea from champions Leicester City, it was obviously a shrewd acquisition.
The Frenchman was instrumental in the Foxes’ success last term, and their unforgiving demise this term highlights just how integral he was to Claudio Ranieri’s side.
However, his performances in a Chelsea shirt have been even better. He has elevated himself to loftier heights, and at the time of writing he is widely considered one of the best midfielders anywhere in the world.
He has been rewarded for the stellar season he has enjoyed at Stamford Bridge. Having already picked up the PFA and FWA Player of The Year awards, he has now been named Premier League Player of The Season, completing a stunning hat-trick. You can’t say that he doesn’t deserve it.
