Lionel Messi and Andreas Iniesta celebrate Barcelona's crucial goal in the first leg at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Barcelona at Stamford Bridge, with Willian and Lionel Messi getting on the scoresheet.

Willian must have thought that his luck was running on empty after bagging a brace against Hull City on Friday. The Brazilian struck the post on two occasions during the first-half with efforts from outside the penalty area.

However, he did finally find the back of the net in emphatic fashion with a low-drilled drive from the edge of the box. The Barcelona players allowed him far too much time and space, and Willian took full advantage. Click here to see the goal.

Our lead did not last long, though. Lionel Messi, who had not scored against Chelsea in eight previous appearances, finally got his goal. After a mix-up at the back, Andres Iniesta latched onto the ball, squared it to Messi, who was not going to miss from what he undoubtedly refers to as the ‘bread and butter region’ of the box.

It’s all to play for at the Nou Camp!

Here’s our player ratings:

Courtois 6, Azpilicueta 9, Christensen 8, Rudiger 7, Moses 6, Fabregas 6, Kante 7, Alonso 4, Willian 9, Pedro 6, Hazard 8. (Subs: Morata 6, Drinkwater 6

So sad that Christensen missed the pass that given the draw, but Fàbregas missed too, let the ball pass like if he was a barça player again. Well, we still can pass through, COME ON. CHELSEA!!
