Chelsea defeated Watford 4-3 in a thrilling game at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea took the lead through John Terry. The Blues skipper, who is set to depart at the end of the season after a 22-year stint at Stamford Bridge, sliced home past Heurelho Gomes to bag a fairytale goal.
Terry fast went from hero to zero. The former England captain headed the ball straight into the path of Etienne Capoue, whose looping header was too high for Asmir Begovic and nestled in the back of the net.
Cesar Azpilicueta restored our lead with his first Premier League goal of the season The Spaniard fired home from the edge of the box with an emphatic finish. He doesn’t score many, but they’re usually worth waiting for.
Michy Batshuayi extended our advantage with his second in two games. On his first Premier League start, Batshuayi made no mistake after an unselfish pass from Nathan Ake to find the back of the net. What a week it has been for him on a personal level.
Daryl Jaanmat pulled one back for Watford, but Chelsea still appeared to be in control. That was until Stefano Okaka bagged his fourth goal of the season. The Okaka, who worked with Anotino Conte during his time with the Italy national team, reacted quicker than the Chelsea defence and fired past Begovic to level the scores.
It appeared as though we were heading for a draw, but substitute Cesc Fabregas had other ideas. After a smart pull-back from Willian, Fabregas fired home into the bottom corner to secure Chelsea all three points.
