Alvaro Morata has provided some very interesting news ahead of Chelsea’s clash with West Brom on Monday night.
The Spaniard has not featured for the Premier League champions since January 17th. Antonio Conte went as far as suggesting that Morata could miss the remainder of the season with a back injury.
However, it doesn’t look as though the damage done to Morata’s back is as bad as first thought. In fact, he may well be fit to feature TONIGHT.
Morata responded to a fan’s comment on Instagram claiming that he is NOT injured and could be involved against the Baggies at Stamford Bridge tonight. See the below image.
Despite scoring just three goals in his last 15 appearances for Chelsea, Morata remains a key player for the Blues.
We need him fit and firing if we want to ensure a strong end to the 2017/18 campaign. Olivier Giroud is a quality deputy for now, but Morata scored some very important goals for us earlier in the season, we need him back in action as soon as possible.
