Chelsea fans have not held back on their judgement of Tiemoue Bakayoko on social media during our clash with Brighton.

Bakayoko arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window with high expectations, after the Blues parted with £40M to secure his services, as per the BBC‘s report at the time.

Tiemoue Bakayoko joined Chelsea from Monaco in the summer.

The Frenchman had been of of AS Monaco’s star performers in the 2016/17 campaign, as the Ligue 1 outfit won the league title and reached the Champions League semi-finals.

Bakayoko was also a direct replacement for Nemanja Matic, who joined Manchester United after playing a starring role in two title triumphs during his time in SW6. Thus far, Bakayoko has not proven himself able to fill Matic’s boots.

The 23-year-old has his best years ahead of him, but his poor performances in a Chelsea shirt game to a head during the first-half of our clash with Brighton on Tuesday afternoon.

The Chelsea faithful took to social media to share their frustrations with Bakayoko. Tiemoue, if you’re reading this, it’s probably time to look away.

I don’t know what man city is doing differently that Chelsea can’t do and even do it better. No hit from 18-yard box like Super Lampy used to do. Men, our players must wake up and play this beautiful game very very well.
