Chelsea remain interested in signing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, according to Calciomercato.

As per Calciomercato, one of Juventus’ main goals for the remainder of the summer transfer window is to keep hold of Sandro, but it is believed that they face great difficulty in their efforts to do so.

Calciomercato believe that the deal to take Sandro to Stamford Bridge has not progressed, but the Brazilian has not, thus far, shown any willingness to sign a contract extension with Juventus.

The Italian outlet believe that Juventus are now bracing themselves for Chelsea’s next move. They claim that an offer in the region of £62.8M could convince the Serie A champions to part with Sandro this summer, despite their unwillingness to do so.

Calciomercato report that until Chelsea come forward with a concrete proposal, or pull out of the race to sign him, Sandro will wait patiently before making a definitive decision on his future.
