Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has hinted that the Premier League champions could be set to make another singing in the coming days, report the Daily Mail.
The Blues have already drafted in Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata, in what is shaping up to be a very successful summer transfer window.
However, it does not look as though Chelsea are done there. The squad’s time in China has now come to an end, and we will now move on to Singapore for the next leg of our pre-season tour.
Antonio Conte has suggested that he could have another new signing at his disposal when he lands in Singapore, as the Daily Mail report:
“In Singapore, Rudiger and Morata will arrive, maybe someone else, I hope. I know very well that the club is working strong, very hard to try to make me the best way to work.”
We have absolutely no idea who the player in question is, but for Conte to be speaking about it so openly and publicly, he must be optimistic that the deal will be signed and sealed very soon.
