hazard scores against Man City

Barcelona are prepared to use a large chunk of the money they raise from the sale of Neymar on Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, according to The Sun.

As The Sun report, Neymar is on the verge of leaving Barcelona and joining Paris Saint-Germain, in a deal which the tabloid believe could be worth an eye-watering £198M.

That could prove to be bad news for Premier League champions Chelsea. The Sun claim that Barca are keen to re-invest that money in Hazard, who would very much be a like-for-like replacement for Neymar on the left-flank of Ernesto Valverde’s attack.

The Sun believe that the Catalan giants will test Chelsea’s resolve with a £100M bid. It remains to be seen whether that will be enough to tempt the Blues to cash-in.

If PSG are prepared to spend £199M on Neymar, as The Sun claim, then why should we allow them to poach Hazard for almost half the price? That, for me, makes no sense.

  1. Although I’m not suppose to comment, because I like Barca, even though I’m a Chelsea fan. The truth is that, what is Barca taking Hazard to be… do they mean Hazard is equal half Neyma?… Of course VERY impossible. If that is the case, Hazard should stay back in Chelsea since all he anticipate in Barca is available in Stamford bridge as well. He(Hazard) has the likes of Morata, Bakayoko, Rudiger, Fabregas,…. Who can always pave the way for him at any time…. Is it champions League he’s looking for?, already Chelsea is on back on track. So why all these storms? He should better sit down and concentrate on how to shine amidst players he’s familiar with and most importantly a tactical coach Conte. He can become any thing he wants to… Finally, he’s already among the key legends in the club. So if it’s a matter of contrast in wages, I know that can be settled.
I always look forward for a better session this time in Chelsea fc. Chelsea for life.

  2. if Hazard is to play in Barca, he will be better than Neymar. He Hazard is worth 150k. Good for Hazard but bad for Chelsea and good for Willian.
