Chelsea have pulled out of a deal to sign PSG midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to the Express.

As per the Express, Antonio Conte and the Chelsea board had identified the Polish international as an ideal replacement for Nemaja Matic who left for Manchester United earlier on in the window.

However, the Express reports that the Premier League champions have pulled out of a deal to sign the central midfielder after PSG took too long over negotiations with the London club because of the Neymar deal.

The 27-year-old played just 19 times for the Paris side last season and has failed to impress at the Parc des Princes since a big-money move from Sevilla last summer.

Despite interest from the Blues, the Chelsea board have grown impatient waiting for PSG to make progress with negotiations and have pulled out of a deal.

Instead, the Telegraph reports that Chelsea have switched their focus to signing Foxes midfielder Danny Drinkwater and will submit a new £25 million bid for the England international this week.
