Chelsea are biding their time as they search for a replacement for the outgoing Diego Costa, according to the Telegraph.

The Telegraph believe that Atletico Madrid are attempting to re-sign Diego Costa, but the Blues will not be pressured into reducing their asking price for the Spaniard.

As per the Telegraph, Chelsea will also not rush into the market to replace the 28-year-old, despite the initial panic after missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

The Telegraph report that Andrea Belotti, Alvaro Morata and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are all being considered by the Premier League champions, with Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez also, albeit less realistic, targets.

It is reported that Antonio Conte knows which of the strikers he would rather sign, but the club are not restricting themselves to one option, and are exploring the possibility of signing each of them.

This is, without a doubt, the best way to go about our search for a new centre-forward.
