Chelsea face plenty of competition in the race to sign Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi, according to Tuttosport.
Tuttosport believe that the Premier League champions are in the running to secure Bernardeschi’s signature in the summer transfer window. The Italian outlet believe that he will not renew his contract with Fiorentina, and the Viola will subsequently look to cash-in on him – there doesn’t appear to be any shortage of interest.
According to Tuttosport, Chelsea will face competition from Juventus, Inter Milan and Manchester United in their pursuit of Bernardeschi – it doesn’t get much tougher than that!
Tuttosport note that an offer in the region of £35million, plus bonuses, should be enough to convince Fiorentina to part with their prize possession. Only time will tell if Antonio Conte is willing to meet the asking price.
Bernardeschi found the back of the net 11 times in Serie A last campaign, more than either of Pedro or Willian managed in the Premier League, despite featuring in fewer games. At 23-years-old, he’s only going to get better.
