Antonio Candreva could be edging closer towards a move to Stamford Bridge as Inter Milan line up a bid for his replacement Keita Balde, according to the Mirror.
Antonio Conte worked with the Inter Milan winger during his time in charge of the Italian national squad and is rumoured in the Mirror to be a big admirer of the 30-year-old who started 36 league matches for his club last season.
The Mirror report that the Chelsea manager attempted to bring Candreva to London during the January transfer window. However, the club were unsuccessful in attempting to prize the winger away from Italy.
However, with the Mirror reporting that Inter Milan are lining up a bid for Lazio wide-man Keita Balde, Candreva could be allowed to leave the Serie A club this summer if a replacement is signed.
Candreva is just one of Antonio Conte’s transfer options to challenge Victor Moses for the right wing-back position. According to the Mirror, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also high on Conte’s list of preferred targets.
