Chelsea have been handed major encouragement in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, report The Sun.

According to Goal, Paris Saint-Germain director Antero Henrique has decided that Aubameyang is too expensive, and the Ligue 1 heavyweights will subsequently look elsewhere in their search of attacking reinforcements. Goal believe that PSG will turn their attentions to Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez, who is thought to be top of their wish-list for the summer transfer window.

The Sun believe that Aubameyang is a target for Premier League champions Chelsea, and thus PSG ending their pursuit is a major boost to the Blues. However, that does not mean that obtaining the Dortmund centre-forward is going to be straightforward.

The Sun report that the Bundesliga outfit will demand a whopping £61million in exchange for their star man. The tabloid note that Chelsea will face competition from both Manchester United and Manchester City. As the saying goes, nothing good every comes easy.
