It may seem strange to follow up a Premier League title win by going shopping in West Ham, but try telling that to Antonio Conte.
According to The Sun, Chelsea are interested in signing Hammers attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini.
The Sun report that Michael Emenalo is a big fan of Lanzini, and feels as though he could develop into a similar player to Real Madrid midfield maestro Luka Modric.
Lanzini bagged eight goals in the Premier League this season, and it earned him his first call-up to the Argentina national team. Hid meteoric rise does not appear to have gone unnoticed.
The Sun believe that Cesc Fabregas is a target for AC Milan, and Lanzini would provide a like-for-like replacement. If Fabregas were to depart, we would lose the man carrying the majority of our chance-creating burden. Lanzini may well be the man to step in a and provide for our forward line.
