Chelsea are prepared to break the bank in order to sign Juventus left-back Alex Sandro this summer, according to La Repubblica.

La Repubblica believe that Sandro is more likely to join the Premier League champions than Premier League counterparts Manchester City, who are also believed to be interested in securing his signature this summer.

The Italian outlet report that Chelsea are prepared to part with as much as £52.8million in order to ensure Sandro is a Chelsea player come the start of next season – but that’s not all signing the Brazilian will set us back.

La Repubblica note that Roman Abramovich is willing to offer Sandro a contract worth a whopping £150,000-a-week in a bid to convince him to leave Juventus and become the next piece in Antonio Conte’s Chelsea jigsaw.

In we are serious about re-establishing ourselves among Europe’s elite, Sandro is the sort of player we should be looking to bring in. Make it happen, Roman!
