Chelsea have approached Porto in regards to the availability of 20-year-old midfielder Ruben Neves, according to A Bola, as the Premier League champions plan a summer swoop.
The Portuguese outlet claim that it is expected that Neves will leave Porto this summer, with a move the the Premier League certainly on the cards. A Bola also believe that Liverpool have made contact too, with Jurgen Klopp being a keen admirer of the young star.
Neves became the youngest captain in Champions League history after leading his side out against Maccabi Tel Aviv in a 2-0 victory back in 2015.
A Bola state that the fee that Porto would be demanding, however, could be around £30m. Highly-rated, Neves has made 90 appearances for Porto and has been with the Portuguese giants since the age of eight, Neves is reportedly ready to make the next step, with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal last year failing to go through.
