Chelsea centre-back Kenneth Omeruo is likely to be sold in the summer transfer window, and the Blues have named their price for the Nigerian, according to OwnGoalNigeria.
Omeruo has been on Chelsea’s books for five years now, but he is yet to make an appearance in any competition for the Premier League champions.
Now 23-years-old, Omeruo needs stability, and needs to be playing regular first-team football – Chelsea can offer him neither of those.
OwnGoalNigeria believe that he could subsequently seek the exit door, and Chelsea appear willing to sell. OwnGoalNigeria report that the Blues are willing to part wth Omeruo if his £7million asking price is met.
There doesn’t appear to be any shortage of interest in signing Omeruo, as OwnGoalNigeria note that he is attracting interest from Turkey, Italy and Germany. It remains to be seen, however, whether any interested parties would be willing to meet his asking price.
