Chelsea have made their move to sign Arsenal wing-man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to the Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail believe that the Blues have held interest in signing the England international for a while, something that Arsenal are thought to be aware of.
The tabloid claim that we will step up our efforts to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain in the next week, with Antonio Conte keen to secure his services before the end of the transfer window.
As the Daily Mail report, Oxlade-Chamberlain has just one year remaining on his contract, with Arsenal keen to hand him an extension to fend off interest from any potential suitors.
However, it is reported that they have left themselves vulnerable by allowing him to wind down his contract, and if Chelsea’s interest is genuine, Arsene Wenger may well have a problem on his hands.
The Daily Mail note that Chelsea are poised to make a £25M move for Oxlade-Chamberlain. Only time will tell if that will be enough to convince Arsenal to sell.
