Chelsea, Dele Alli, it couldn’t happen – could it?

The answer is probably no, but Spanish outlet Don Balon believe that Antonio Conte is keen to draft in the Tottenham man this summer.

Conte’s ambition is completely justified, he is the manager of the Premier League champions, who recently received the biggest pay-out in the competition’s history, as well as sealing a bumper kit deal with Nike.

Alli, though, may well be a bridge too far. Don Balon note it would take a fee in the region of £89M to convince Tottenham to sell, and even that seems cheap for a player who is arguably the most talented youngster England have produced since Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.

There can be no doubting that he would be an extraordinary addition to our side, and it would be a major coup, but we’d be better off pursuing more realistically obtainable players instead of wasting our time running down cul-de-sacs.

  1. What is happening bakayoco deal? james is gone, Is Chelsea ready to buy morata or not we can’t continue waiting for last day again such happen last year we did not sign lukaku now we are waiting again.

  2. This Conte guy is just awesomely talented in what he does, despite losing on the intended Lukaku move, this young lad is undeniably the best weapon that our team needs in the attacking side.

  3. All. A lot of rubbish, it won’t happen , I’d be happy just one player at moment , because all we are doing is just talking, but no action , lost targets already

  4. I believe we have made a big mistake in this point of time. No striker, This is a serious problem. Why did miss out on Lukaku?I s Deigo staying? We are left in a limbo.

  5. Cant see this happening as Levy hates Chelsea and there is certainly no love lost between him and Abramovich ever since the Moderic fiasco a few seasons ago. Chelsea would be better off digging very deep and going for Mbeppi from Monaco if they really wanted to shock the footballing world with a huge statement. Monaco are also owned by a Russian Oligarch and hopefully as we have just done business with Bakayoko it would seem more realistic to go for the talented young Frenchman IMHO.

  6. I think Dele Alli,Eriksen and Kane will be very useful for our blue team.
I hope that it may be needed of only 250-300 mil £ to get all of them.
