Alvaro Morata’s proposed switch from Real Madrid to Chelsea appears to be progressing.
The Spaniard only returned to the Bernabeu in the summer transfer window, but it appears as though he could be on the move once more.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea are preparing to offer Real Madrid £59million in exchange for Morata’s services. The Italian outlet believe that the Blues will offer the Real hitman a five-year deal worth £162,500-a-week in hope he will make the switch to West London.
Morata has bagged 13 goals in La Liga this campaign, despite being on the field for just 1173 minutes. That’s an average of a goal every 90 minutes, putting him on par with some of the best strikers in the world.
If Antonio Conte is in the hunt for attacking reinforcements this summer, Morata appears to tick all the boxes. This is certainly one to keep an eye on as we approach the transfer window.
