Chelsea are set to taste defeat in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund goal-machine Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Mirror.

As per the Mirror, Aubameyang has been heavily linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge, with some reports suggesting that Antonio Conte would turn his attentions to the Gabon international after missing out to Manchester United in the race to sign Romelu Lukaku.

However, it looks as though Aubameyang will be moving elsewhere. The Mirror believe that he is on the verge of joining Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjin.

The Mirror report that Tianjin are aiming to complete a ‘record-breaking’ deal to sign Aubameyang, and the only hold up is discussions between his representatives and the Chinese side over personal terms.

It is reported that he would seal his Dortmund exit this week, which from a Chelsea standpoint, would very much be a matter of another one bites the dust.

  1. Why don’t Chelsea sign Sanchez, he is a full force and if we sign him, our champions league competition can be guaranteed. Give him the money and we will win more money
