Chelsea are on the verge of missing out on Tottenham Hotspur left wing back Danny Rose after a report by StarSport says he prefers a move to Manchester United.
As per the StarSport, Rose is on Chelsea’s list of potential options to provide competition for Marcos Alonso at left-wing-back.
It is unclear whether Chelsea pursued him in the summer, but the move never materialised, with Rose remaining a Tottenham player and the Blues sticking with Alonso. The Spain international has performed well in the absence of a new arrival.
However, with games coming thick and fast for the Blues this season across four competitions, Chelsea want to move for Rose again in January, as per StarSport. You can use our betting partner TheCasinoDB to have a bet on if you think this transfer will happen.
The Daily Star, however, report that Chelsea are in for a fight as Man United are back in for the defender to replace Luke Shaw, who is set to depart Old Trafford next summer.
Valued at £45m, StarSport say United are increasingly confident of landing Rose next year.
