The Daily Mail reported back in March that Premier League champions Chelsea were leading the race to sign Shaw. Manchester City, Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham are also thought to be interested in signing the Englishman.
Shaw, who is a Chelsea fan, has endured a frosty relationship with Mourinho since the Portuguese took charge at Old Trafford. The situation looks as though it came to a head during United’s win over Brighton two weeks ago.
The Daily Mail claim that the pair engaged in a heated argument in the dressing room after Mourinho decided to take Shaw off at half-time.
It’s reported that Mourinho was dissatisfied with Shaw’s first-half performance, while the 22-year-old asked: “Why are you always picking on me?”
The way that Mourinho has treated Shaw is a disgrace. He’d be adored here, and ought to follow his heart and make the move to Stamford Bridge.
