Chelsea will have to pay £54 million to have any chance of signing Danny Rose, according to The Independent. It is reported that the English defender has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Tottenham are set to hold crunch talks with the right-back, according to the report, following his public lash out at the club’s transfer and wage policy. In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Rose revealed that he did not like Spurs signing players he had to Google to know.
The 27-year-old also hinted at an exit after bashing the club’s wage policy during an interview with The Sun. He claimed that he has just one big contract left in him and he wants to grab that any cost as he is reaching his peak.
The Sun also suggested that Chelsea were keen on signing him and were ready to pay £50 million for him. As well as Chelsea, the Independent report that Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the right-back.
As per the Independent, Rose still has 4 years left on his current contract as he had just signed a new deal last summer. He hasn’t played for Spurs since his knee surgery in January and is still in rehabilitation but is due to return to training in a few weeks.
