Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is prepared to push for a move to Chelsea this summer, according to the Times.

The BBC’s Neil Henderson, took to Twitter to share a photo of Friday’s edition of the Times, as shown below.

The Times’ report claims that Rose will push for a move to Stamford Bridge if the Premier League champions follow up their initial interest with a concrete proposal. It is reported that he would also consider a move to Manchester United, but they are not thought to currently be in the running to secure his signature.

The Times believe that if Spurs do decide to cash-in on the England international this summer, they would demand a fee in the region of £50M.

That may well be a price worth paying. Not only is he home-grown, but he would also be a direct upgrade on Marcos Alonso. It’d also cause quite a stir among Tottenham fans, which would be an added bonus!

  1. Stick him in the u23s for the season. He has a four year contract still.
If he signed it and suddenly had been turned, I’d let him rot for the season.
Lady of the old guard, bitter snd no respect to his manager or his team mates.
Well done Danny, how to ruin your career.
