Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic is set to return to Serie A this summer, report Calciomercato.
Pasalic spent the 2016/17 campaign on loan with AC Milan, making 23 appearances in Italy’s top tier, and finding the back of the net on five occasions. It looks as though the 22-year-old’s time in the country is not over yet.
Calciomercato report that Lazio are in advanced talks over signing Pasalic from Chelsea. The deal, as per Calciomercato, will initially be a loan, but with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The Italian outlet believe that Lazio will pay £880K in order to secure the Croatian’s services on a temporary basis, and will have the chance to sign him on a permanent basis for £8.8M in June 2018.
As per Calciomercato, the deal could be concluded in the next few hours. Pasalic’s exit from Stamford Bridge appears to only be a matter of time.
