PSG are set to rival Premier League champions Chelsea for the signature of Italian sensation Andrea Belotti, according to the Daily Star.
After scoring 26 goals in Serie A last season for Italian side Torino, Belotti is one of the hottest talents in Europe right now.
Unsurprisingly, the Italian attacker is wanted by a host of European clubs with the Daily Mail reporting that PSG are preparing a bid of £61.3 million for the 23-year-old striker.
This news will come as a major blow to Antonio Conte and Chelsea who are reportedly willing to meet the Torino striker’s £89 million release clause.
Earlier this week, Belotti was left out of Torino’s kit launch which would suggest that the Italian forward does not feature in Torino boss Sinisa Mihajilovic’s plans for the new season.
However, with a number of clubs said to be keen on signing the attacker, Transfermarketweb name Chelsea, PSG and AC Milan as interested parties, it remains to be seen where the Italian attacker will be plying his trade next season.
