Kenneth Omeruo is on the verge of leaving Chelsea and joining a fellow English side, according to Own Goal Nigeria.
Omeruo joined Chelsea from Belgian outfit Standard Liege in the winter of 2012, but has not made a single appearance for the Blues over that five-year period.
He has, in fact, made 126 appearances across loan stints with four different sides, and made 31 appearances for the Nigerian national side in those five-years.
Now 23-years-old, it now appears to be time for Omeruo to finally move on, and it looks as though his next destination has already been decided.
As per Own Goal Nigeria, Chelsea have accepted a bid worth £3M, plus add-ons, from Wolves for Omeruo. It is believed that he will undergo a medical with the Championship side and the deal will be signed and sealed.
This is where we would usually thank him for his service to the club, but in this case, there hasn’t been any.
