Marcos Alonso doubled Chelsea’s advantage over Brighton at Stamford Bridge with a header from Cesc Fabregas’ corner.

The first 45 minutes were rather forgettable, but things got a lot better for the Premier League champions less than 60 seconds into the second period. Alvaro Morata latched onto the end of Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross to give the Blues the lead. You can click here to see the goal.
